sore bumbs and endless food
we did 28 miles and had a thoroughly good time.we rode on the highpeak trail and one other. it was very cold all the time and very wet on the sunday morning. on the way back we went into the national war memorial.
 March 2012 Portmadog Walking Weekend
this was a walking weeekend in wales where we stayed in some old stone fishermans cottages. the walk was a hard day with quite a bit of rain. the lastbit most of us couldn't be bothered to do sowe came home in the back of richard van.
we also made a sheep code which tells you what type of sheep they are depending on there coloured spot.
on the way home it was fun in the minibus even if half of us did fall asleep. we stoped of at the white water kayaking tryals whch was really wet but good because we keeped chearing go bob or go sam even if we didn't know what ther names were. i bet they thought we were mad!

  November 2011 Kitchen Opening
what we did for this was go for the entertainer badge and do a shadow puppet show. this worked well and had the audience laughing. 2 or 3 of us also made potato cakes on the night for the buffet afterwards
October 2011 Allesley Camp
this one was a backwards camp. we walked from fillongley to allesley pitched our tents in the dark and went to sleep. next day backed beans in a backed been tin and sauusages on sticks. the rest of the day we could do anything we wanted- and cook tea. what did we do we decide to build a shelter. ther was already a sceleton of one in the woods so we built on that. there were about 5 who slept in that one. the other was made out of a plastic sheet but i don't think anyone slept in that one. then on the sunday morning it was pack up have breakfast and walk home

September 2011 Ullesthorpe Camp
this was indoor accomidation and a pioneering camp for the scouts. at first we thought oh dear it's raining but very soon it brightened up. we decided it would be a great idea to build a catapult. this worked well until we used it so much the fixings started to loosen. the girls also made a swing. in the evening we had a camp fire were we learnt new songs and made friends with the other group.when we had freentime the girls talked and Oliver James hosted 'Oli's Well Good Show'. all together I don't think it was that good a successes

July 2011 Summer Camp Dartmoor
Green field camp. a mixture of disgusting toiletts, leaders that can't tell us weather there is any more uphill or not and ticks. over all we had 6 ticks the first was called Fredrick Edward Cullen Diggory the first. and guess what the second one was called Fredrick Edward Cullen Diggory the second. other than naming ticks we had a long walk over dartmoor in the hot weather, a look round the farm and trips to the national trust properties. also we went to tavistok swimming  bath which has an inside and outside slide and a moving water wave. The kids were also taught how to play a game called spoons which is quite vishious if you ask them. altogether it was great fun!
